So I was just doing some ROM testing with this old Samsung Tab A (US Variant, Smoky Titanium) and discovered something wild. I don't know if the US variant received the Marshmallow update but here it is anyway, I got a successful flash out of it without a factory reset.

You can flash that with Odin 3.09 to get yourself to Marshmallow on this tablet. Change the system language back to Enlgish (US) and you have Marshmallow. (6.0.1)
