Apologizing to fans in a Weekly Update today, Bungie revealed Destiny players don’t need to re-purchase the game and its expansions again to receive the exclusive perks included in the collector’s editions of The Taken King.
Players who already own Destiny and both expansion packs will be able to pick up the content, previously only attainable in the Legendary Edition or the Gamestop-exclusive Collector’s Edition, in a US$20 content pack on September 15.
